Norfolk, VA (November 2023) S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. has been named an honoree of The Civic 50 Hampton Roads by VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads and Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service.

The award recognizes S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. as one of the most community-minded companies in Hampton Roads, determined by an independently administered and scored survey.

The Civic 50 Hampton Roads initiative, modeled after Points of Light’s national program, provides a standard for superior corporate citizenship, and showcases how companies can use their time, skills, and resources to drive social impact in their company and communities.

S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. created the SLN CARES initiative in 2021. This community outreach program was developed in conjunction with local and regional non-profit partners. SLN Cares aims to make a positive and lasting impact on the communities we serve, with a focus on engaging employees in meaningful volunteer activities that align with the company’s values and contribute to the betterment of the world we live in with a goal to promote community development and welfare, fostering employee engagement and teamwork, and building strong relationships with local organizations and non-profits.
