A Legacy of Excellence

Commitment, Integrity, and Excellence. Since 1906.

Humble Beginnings

At S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co., we thrive on providing a comprehensive experience in all aspects of the commercial real estate industry. For over a century, we have honed our skills and built strategies that win for our team of clients, partners and customers.

At the turn of the 20th century, America was on the verge of tremendous innovation and business advances – ranging from the Wright Brothers’ first flight in 1903, to Henry Ford’s Model A.

Real estate development was no exception. In 1906, Sidney Leon Nusbaum started S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. in Norfolk, Virginia.

Strong Foundations

Five generations later, our business continues with a strong family foundation. Most recently, under the leadership of the late Alan B. Nusbaum, the founder’s great grandson, who followed in the footsteps of his father, Virginius Harding “Pooch” Nusbaum Jr., and his grandfather, Virginius Harding Nusbaum.

With a solid business philosophy and a proven reputation for doing what’s right, S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. has been able to expand throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. We are licensed in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
