The City Planning Commission is a seven‐member body, appointed by the City Council, responsible for the review of land use and zoning matters for the City of Norfolk. The Commission makes recommendations on various matters to City Council who are responsible for making a final determination.
The City Planning Commission is also responsible for the development of the city’s General Plan or the plan for land use and development in Norfolk.
Warlick heads the Office & Industrial Division at S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. He received his B.A. from Virginia Tech in 1977 and holds a law degree from William & Mary. With over 27 years of leasing, management and general brokerage experience in Hampton Roads, Warlick has been the recipient of the prestigious Hunter A. Hogan, Jr. Award, given to the top producing commercial real estate broker in the region, five of the past ten years.
Warlick was originally appointed to the Norfolk Planning Commission in 1999 and has served as Chairman since 2007.
