About Annika

Annika Peterson joined the Human Resources team as the Benefits Administrator in 2023. In her current role, she is responsible for overseeing enrollment, changes, and terminations for all benefit plans and spearheading the SLN Wellness Program, an initiative aiming to cultivate healthy habits among employees through comprehensive corporate wellness opportunities.

Annika’s professional journey with S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. began as a leasing consultant in Virginia Beach while she was completing her undergraduate education at Old Dominion University. Before graduating from ODU she attended Tidewater Community College, dedicating two years to teaching ballet and tap dance to children. Utilizing this same passion for teaching, Annika contributes to ensuring company-wide benefits comprehensibility, driven by her core values of positivity, compassion, mental health awareness, and overall wellness.
