Clay Brown joined the brokerage team within our Richmond office as an Associate in 2023. Hailing from Norfolk, Virginia, he is a proud graduate of Maury High School and Hampden Sydney College. Clay began his professional career in education teaching Middle School English and passionately coaching soccer and basketball at a boarding school nestled in the scenic North Georgia mountains for three years. It was during one of his summer breaks that he interned at Sam Segar & Associates, an experience that ignited his interest in the dynamic field of real estate.
Clay transitioned first into residential real estate, successfully selling 50 homes during his two-year tenure at CapCenter. His understanding of the market, coupled with a commitment to client satisfaction, set him apart as a reliable and trusted real estate professional. He eventually transitioned into the multifamily property management, with a six-year tenure with Main Street Realty and The Breeden Company in Richmond.
Now working with a team of seasoned professionals in the Richmond office, Clay is gaining experience in diverse asset types, including office, national retail, industrial operators, and multifamily investment sales.
