Nusbaum Realty Co. is pleased to announce Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar has leased 4,693 square feet of retail space at Little Creek Marketplace, located at 725 E. Little Creek Road in Norfolk, VA. Christopher Hucke of S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. represented the landlord and Levi Thomson of Divaris Real Estate represented the tenant in this transaction.
Founded nearly three decades ago, Applebee’s operates the largest casual-dining chain in the world. This prominent eatery draws people of all ages and lifestyles with its fun, family-friendly atmosphere and signature bar and grill menu.

This location is slated to open in February, 2017 and will feature elements of Applebee’s latest prototypical design, including a covered patio and more than 200 seats.
There are currently over 2000 Applebee’s restaurants operating system-wide in all 50 states, Guam, Puerto Rico and 15 countries. The Applebee’s system employs approximately 28,000 employees company-wide. This new location anticipates hiring approximately 50 staff members.
Little Creek Marketplace is located at the intersection of East Little Creek Road, Tidewater Drive, and Sewells Point Road in Norfolk, adjacent to a Wal-Mart Supercenter and a new 135,000 SF Sam’s Club. Current tenants include: Tropical Smoothie Cafe, The UPS Store, Great Clips, Fuddruckers, WingStop, Verizon Wireless, Domino’s, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Subway, Mattress Firm, Bank @lantec and an ABC Store.
