Buc-ee’s To Break Ground on First Virginia Location in the Coming Months

Buc-ee’s New Kent, LLC has purchased 27.686 acres located at Exit 211 – New Kent Vineyards Parkway in New Kent, Virginia from Kent Farms Holdings Company, LLC for $6,506,210. Nathan Shor is the Exclusive Tenant Representative for Buc-ee’s in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and also represented the seller in this transaction.

The property will be constructed as a Buc-ee’s Super Center, comprised of approximately 74,000 square feet of retail space, with multiple fueling positions and EV chargers, as well as abundant parking for cars, buses and RVs.

Buc-ee’s, considered by many as offering a road side “Disney World Experience”, boasts the nation’s largest convenience store footprint and was ranked #1 by Forbes Magazine in their Customer Experience All Stars List for 2023, beating out Chick Fil-A for the top spot.

Over the past two decades, the chain has opened more than 25 Super Centers throughout the south. This will be the first Virginia store for the Texas-based retailer, with plans to open a total of 4 locations in the Commonwealth over the next few years.
