Norfolk, VA (February 2020) – S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is pleased to announce veteran commercial real estate broker, Doug Aronson, is returning to S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. and will lead a newly-formed Capital Markets Division, focused on selling investment properties leased primarily to national tenants.
“I’m thrilled to be back at the company where I started my commercial real estate career nearly fifteen years ago,” said Aronson. “S.L. Nusbaum has always felt like family to me. We’ve stayed in close contact throughout the years and it made perfect sense to return.”
Aronson spent the last six and half years in South Florida where he most recently served as a Senior Managing Director for Colliers International. His practice focuses on the triple net (NNN) industry in which tenants, not the property owners, pay the taxes, insurance and associated maintenance costs.
“For investors, it’s like buying a bond backed by real estate,” said Aronson. “Investors like the limited landlord responsibilities and are willing to sacrifice yield for peace of mind.” In his career, Aronson has sold more than $500 million of commercial properties and recently led the brokerage team that sold a Norfolk shopping center for $17.1 million.
Aronson sells single and multi-tenant properties across the country, with a concentration in the southeastern part of the U.S. He will have offices in both Norfolk and Florida.
