NORFOLK, VA (April 2017) – S. L. Nusbaum Realty Co. and the Fellowship Square Foundation are pleased to announce the award of management responsibilities for the Foundation’s 667-unit portfolio.
This portfolio consists of the following five communities designed for independent seniors over age 62 with limited incomes, as well as persons with disabilities:
- Hunters Woods, Reston, VA includes 222 one bedroom and ADA accessible apartment units, a social hall and other common areas.
- Lake Anne I & II, Reston, VA is comprised of 240 efficiency, studio and one bedroom apartment units, common areas and a social hall.
- Lake Ridge, Woodbridge, VA features 99 one bedroom and ADA accessible apartment units, a social hall and other common areas.
- Largo Landing, Upper Marlboro, MD consists of 106 one bedroom and ADA accessible apartment units, a social hall, common areas and other amenities.
Fellowship Square Foundation is a nonprofit, faith-based organization. Incorporated in 1960, the Foundation advocates for affordable housing that enhances resident freedom, independence, self-confidence and well-being. As part of its mission, the Foundation seeks to provide pastoral care and counseling to residents of all faiths. Lake Anne, the first house welcomed residents in 1971. From 1976-84, the Foundation added Hunters Woods, Lake Ridge and Largo Landing Fellowship Houses.
