NORFOLK, VA – (July 2017) S. L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is pleased to announce the successful negotiation of the following transactions totaling approximately $18 million in sales and lease volume on 282,355 square feet and 15.14 acres for the Norfolk and Richmond Offices:

NEW LEASES: 

  • Birdsong Corporation has subleased 138,000 square feet of industrial space at 221 Progress Way in Franklin, VA. Stephanie Sanker, CCIM, SIOR represented the sublessor.
  • Spirit Halloween Superstores, LLC has leased 10,810 square feet of retail space at WindsorMeade Marketplace in Williamsburg, VA. Tyler Jacobson represented the landlord.
  • Cheer Extreme has leased 7,219 square feet of retail space at Victory West Shopping Center in Portsmouth, VA. Mike Zarpas and Seth Norman represented the landlord.
  • Duncan’s Posh Salon has leased 3,000 square feet of retail space at Monticello Marketplace in Williamsburg, VA. Tyler Jacobson represented the landlord.
  • Korner Mart has leased 2,800 square feet of retail space at Jefferson Shoppes in Newport News, VA. Neal Sadler represented the landlord.
  • Haile Lytton State Farm Agency has leased 1,700 square feet of retail space at 2225 Hanover Avenue in Richmond, VA. Elliot Warsof represented the tenant.
  • A&D Music Distributors has leased 1,060 square feet of office space at 3300 Tyre Neck Road, Suite A in Portsmouth, VA. Michael Myers handled the transaction.
  • Universal Studio Salon has leased 1,000 square feet of retail space at Arch Village Shopping Center in Midlothian, VA. Elliot Warsof and Nathan Shor represented the landlord.

SALE TRANSACTIONS:

  • M. Biggs, Incorporated has purchased Center Stage@Lumberton, a 42,854 square foot shopping center located on 6.42 acres in Lumberton, NC from Lumberton Partners, LLC for $4,250,000. Nathan Shor represented the seller.
  • 929 Associates, LLC has purchased a 9,100 square foot Dollar General located at 3860 Lewis B. Puller Memorial Highway in Shacklefords, VA from Par 5 Development for $1,420,000. Nathan Shor represented the buyer.
  • Schell Brothers has purchased a 13,554 square foot office building on .9 acre located at 1919 Huguenot Road in Midlothian, VA from Cromwood Associates, LC for $850,000. Nathan Shor, Bob Butcher, Elliot Warsof and Andrew Thacker represented the seller.
  • Pete Mkris has purchased the AAMCO Transmission, Inc. (business only) located at 4941 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach, VA from CAALO, Inc. Ross A. Weinstein, J.D. handled the transaction.
  • Praestes, LLC has purchased a 3,109 square foot office condominium located at 516 Innovation Drive, Suite 102 in Chesapeake, VA from ATK Medical LLC for $520,000. Seth Norman and Martin Murden represented the seller.
  • Stockley Gardens, LLC has purchased a 3,478 square foot multifamily property located on 0.0717 acre at 713 Stockley Gardens in Norfolk, VA for $380,000 from Nancy Kanter. Michael Myers handled the transaction.
