NORFOLK, VA (January 2025) – S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is pleased to announce the acquisition of 3325 and 3357 Dam Neck Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore purchased 23.898 acres of land from Lavern M. Smith, Cherron B. Mitchell and Larry Dr. Brinkley, Co-Executors of the Estate of Irvin L. Brinkley for $2,924,750. Stephanie Sanker, CCIM, SIOR and Bill Overman, CCIM provided Buyer Advisory Services in the transaction.
The site will be developed as a new headquarters and distribution facility for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.
The 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization has been instrumental in providing over 400 million meals to those in need. Since 1981, the Foodbank has dedicated itself to collecting, storing, and distributing food within the local community, while also addressing the root causes of hunger and food insecurity.
