Since Taylor joined the company in 2004, he initiated the condominium conversion of Ghent on the Square Apartments, headed up the rehabilitation of Independence Apartments and procured the combined $60 million sales of Brookfield, St. Croix and Woodview Apartments, in addition to attracting a large new business financial management account. Taylor became a partner and shareholder at S.L. Nusbaum in 2010.
Taylor has been instrumental in numerous multifamily development projects, including River House Apartments, the Heritage Forrest project in Newport News, the purchase, rezoning, of the new Meadowood Apartments (which is currently under construction) in Norfolk and the new development next to Greenbrier Mall named “The Carriage House @ Greenbrier” (construction beginning in September). The “Carriage House”, a 176 unit development, will be S.L. Nusbaum’s newest luxury apartment community in Chesapeake, VA. Taylor is also involved and committed to numerous civic endeavors in our community, such as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Chesapeake Bay Wine Classic Foundation, Norfolk Collegiate School, Virginia Wesleyan, and many others.
