Tom comes to SLN with many years of experience in multi-levels of the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining S.L. Nusbaum Co., Tom was a Senior Director, Retail Properties for GVA Advantis for ten years and was primarily responsible for the sales, leasing and marketing of over 1.3 million square feet of community centers and grocery-anchored retail properties throughout the Hampton Roads region.
After 10 years with GVA Advantis, Tom co-created Tower Park Real Estate Tower Park Real Estate in Newport News, Virginia and was responsible for many mixed-use, new urbanist, retail, office and flex properties including Port Warwick, a 150 acre award winning, mixed-use development. He also managed multiple agents and staff and oversaw operations of 15 properties including budgeting, reporting, lease administration, Tenant and Landlord relations.
Most recently he was with Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate where he performed general sales, leasing and development duties. Tom is also the owner of GreenLife Adventure Sports, an outdoor outfitter located in the historic Ghent area of Norfolk.
