Wong’s Tacos Expends Into Mechanicsville

RICHMOND, VA (September 2024) – S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is pleased to announce Rutland RE LLC (EAT Restaurant Partners LLC) has purchased a .89 parcel located at 9206 Rutlandshire Drive in Mechanicsville, VA from TL Hunt for $525,000. The purchaser is an established operator with numerous successful restaurants in the area to include Beijing on Grove, Boulevard Burger & Brew, Fat Dragon, Lucky AF, Osaka Sushi & Steak, Pizza & Beer of Richmond, Red Salt Chophouse & Sushi and Wild Ginger.

The site will serve as the areas third Wong’s Tacos restaurant offering fun fusion dishes inspired by the flavors of both Chinese and Mexican cuisines. Existing locations are currently operating in both Short Pump and Midlothian.

Construction is slated to commence soon, with an anticipated opening of Spring 2025. Newman and Shor will continue to assist the buyer with future acquisition opportunities.
