SLN Capital Markets Sells Seventh Chesapeake Shopping Center Outparcel

Norfolk, VA (February 26, 2025) – SLN Capital Markets, a division of S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co., has sold a 3-tenant retail strip center to an investor. The transaction marks the seventh retail outparcel the SLN Capital Markets team has sold at Greenbrier Square, a 254,000 square foot center anchored by Kroger Marketplace off I-64 in Chesapeake, VA.
“The Vakos Companies did a great job developing this shopping center,” said Doug Aronson, Senior Managing Director of SLN Capital Markets. “Every outparcel we sold for them was fully occupied by a variety of local or national tenants and garnered a lot of interest from both regional and international investors”.
The most recent sale was for a 7,440 square foot strip center leased to La Hacienda Mexican Grill, Clover Nail Spa and Tobacco Land & Vape. The property sold for $3,362,500. The other adjacent sales occurred over recent years and included a 10,860 square foot strip center, and single tenant properties leased to Kroger Fuel, Valvoline, Starbucks, Arby’s, and Popeye’s.
